Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for
Maintenance Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways for
maintenance operations in the Philadelphia region, the Pennsylvania
Department
of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, September 25, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Spinnerstown Road is
scheduled
to close between Steinsburg Road and Hieter Road in Milford Township, Bucks

County, for pipe replacement. During construction, Spinnerstown Road
motorists
will be detoured over Limeport Pike, Kings Highway, and Route 663 (John
Fries
Highway). Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone;
• Monday, September 25, through Wednesday, September 27, from 7:00 AM to
4:00
PM, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 82 (Manor Road)
between U.S. 322 and Route 401 (Conestoga Road) in West Nantmeal and
Wallace
townships, Chester County, for base repair;
• Monday, September 25, through Thursday, September 28, from 9:00 AM to
3:00
PM, intermittent right lane closures are scheduled on Route 309 between
U.S.
202 and Route 152 (Limekiln Pike), in Montgomery and Hatfield townships,
Montgomery County, for inlet repair;
• Monday, September 25, through Friday, September 29, from 8:00 PM to 6:00
AM,
lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Swedesford Road between
Old
Eagle School Road and Guthrie Road, in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County,
for
patching;
• Wednesday, September 27, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Geryville Pike/Kings
Highway is scheduled to close between Titlow Road and Baus Road in Milford
Township, Bucks County, for pipe replacement. During construction Geryville

Pike/Kings Highway motorists will be detoured over Limeport Pike,
Spinnerstown
Road, and Route 663 (John Fries Highway). Local access will be maintained
up to
construction zone;
• Wednesday, September 27, and Thursday, September 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
a right lane closure is scheduled on westbound U.S. 422 between Keim Street
and
Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) in North Coventry Township, Montgomery County,
for
shoulder work; and
• Thursday, September 28, from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Whitehall Road is
scheduled
to close between Main Street and Marshall Street in West Norriton Township,

Montgomery County, for pipe replacement. During construction, Whitehall
Road
motorists will be detoured over Main Street, Forrest Avenue, and Marshall
Street. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
