PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Next Week for Utility Improvements in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery Counties
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday lane restrictions with flagging on several state highways in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for gas line installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work locations are:
- Monday, October 22 and Tuesday, October 23, Route 113 (3rd Avenue) between Laurel Drive and West Main Street in Trappe Borough, Montgomery County;
- Monday, October 29, through Monday, November 5, Westbourne Road between Windy Knoll Road and Concord Road in Westtown Township, Chester County;
- Monday, October 29, through Monday, November 5, U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) between Whitetail Lane and Cowan Road in Sadsbury Township, Chester County;
- Tuesday, October 30, through Tuesday, November 6, Route 340 (Kings Highway) between Kingswood Lane and New Jersey Avenue in Caln Township, Chester County;
- Tuesday, October 30, through Tuesday, November 6, Blueball Avenue between Scott Avenue and Malatesta Avenue in Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County;
- Wednesday, October 31, through Wednesday, November 7, Route 41 (Gap Newport Pike) at the intersection of London Grove Road and Route 841 (Coatesville Road) in London Grove Township, Chester County;
- Wednesday, October 31, through Wednesday, November 7, Millers Hill between Cope Road and Baltimore Pike in Kennett Township, Chester County;
- Wednesday, October 31, through Wednesday, November 7, Lansdowne Avenue between East Providence Road and Elder Avenue in Yeadon Borough, Delaware County; and
- Monday, November 5, through Friday, November 9, Belvoir Road between Sandy Hill Road and Plymouth Road in Plymouth Township, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas. All scheduled activities are weather permitting.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
