PECO to Restrict U.S. 202 (Dekalb Street) and Several Other State Highways for Utility Installations in Montgomery and Bucks Counties
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning lane closures on several state highways in Montgomery and Bucks counties, including U.S. 202 (Dekalb Street), on Monday, June 3, through Friday, June 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for utility installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work locations are:
- U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) between Hancock Road and Swedesford Road in Lower Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County;
- U.S. 202 (Dekalb Street) between Schuylkill Avenue and Washington Street in Norristown, Montgomery County;
- High Street between Roland Street and Price Street in Pottstown Borough, Montgomery County;
- Bristol Road between Lower State Road and Folly Road in Warrington Township, Bucks County; and
- Stoopville Road between Eagle Road and Clymer Street in Newtown Township, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
