Reopening Tonight: I-95 South Ramp to Bridge Street/Harbison Avenue Following Water Main Break
King of Prussia, PA – The ramp from southbound Interstate 95 to Bridge Street/Harbison Avenue in Philadelphia will reopen sometime after 7:00 PM tonight when repairs to a water main are completed by the Philadelphia Water Department, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. The ramp had been closed since Monday, May 6 following a water main break at the base of the ramp.
While the ramp is closed this evening, motorists will continue to be directed south on I-95, exit at Aramingo Avenue and continue on Aramingo Avenue to Bridge Street. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
The Philadelphia Water Department is completing this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
