I-95 South Double Lane Closure at Night Next Week for Final Construction Activities in Bucks County

King of Prussia, PA – Southbound Interstate 95 motorists in Bucks County will encounter a double lane closure between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Academy Road interchanges on Monday, October 21, through Friday, October 25, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM for final construction activities on a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 and I-295 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. Weather permitting, the entire project is expected to be completed by the end of October.

Under this $36,595,236 project, PennDOT rehabilitated existing pavement; performed base repairs; installed new guide rail; repaired or replaced damaged traffic signs; performed minor bridge deck repairs; and installed rumble strips and delineators along the I-95/I-295 corridor.

James J. Anderson Construction Company, Inc. of Philadelphia is the general contractor on the project which is financed with 80 percent federal and 20 percent state funds.
