PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Next Week for Utility Improvements Across Philadelphia Region

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM next week on several state highways in Delaware, Bucks and Montgomery counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Tuesday, October 15, through Wednesday, October 23, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 202 between Oakland Road and Dilworthtown Road in Concord, Thornbury and Chadds Ford townships, Delaware County;
  • Tuesday, October 15, through Wednesday, November 20, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Almshouse Road/Newtown Richboro Road) between Golden Gate Drive and Hanover Street in Northampton and Newtown townships, Bucks County;
  • Wednesday, October 16, through Wednesday, October 23, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 29 (Main Street) between 4th Street and 5th Street in East Greenville Borough, Montgomery County; and
  • Wednesday, October 16, through Friday, October 18, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between New Ardmore Avenue and Ferguson Avenue in Marple Township, Delaware County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
