PECO to Close Roberts Road Weekdays for Utility Improvement in Lower Merion Township
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning to close Roberts Road weekdays between Montgomery Avenue and Wyndon Avenue in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County beginning Wednesday, October 23 for gas main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. Weather permitting, the closure will be in place Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through the end of November.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue), Route 320 (Spring Mill Road), Morris Avenue, Harriton Road and Old Gulph Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
