Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Chester County

King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on several state highways in Chester County next week, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, October 14, and Tuesday, October 15, on Route 41 (Gap Newport Pike) between Fernwood Road and Walter Road in Londonderry Township;
  • Monday, October 14, through Friday, October 18, on Birmingham Road between Route 926 (Street Road) and Route 842 (Miner Street) in East Bradford and Birmingham townships;
  • Monday, October 14, through Friday, October 18, on Creek Road between Route 52 (Lenape Road) and Route 842 (Miner Street) in East Bradford Township;
  • Monday, October 14, through Friday, October 18, on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Concord Road and Glen Avenue in West Goshen Township;
  • Monday, October 14, through Friday, October 18, on Route 52 (Lenape Road/Bradford Avenue) between Shropshire Road and Market Street in East Bradford Township and West Chester Borough;
  • Monday, October 14, through Friday, October 18, on Sconnelltown Road between Birmingham Road and Route 842 (Miner Street) in East Bradford Township; and
  • Tuesday, October 15, through Friday, October 18, on Route 841 (Chesterville Road) between New London Road and Creek Road in Franklin Township.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
