Philadelphia Water Department to Restrict U.S. 1 South (Roosevelt Boulevard) Saturday for Stormwater Maintenance

King of Prussia, PA – The Philadelphia Water Department is planning a right lane closure on the inner lanes of southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between 9th Street and just south of Broad Street (Route 611) in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 12, from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM for stormwater maintenance, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. This operation is weather dependent.
