PennDOT to Resurface Five State Highways in Delaware and Montgomery
Counties

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
lane restrictions are scheduled next week in Delaware and Montgomery
counties
for the milling and resurfacing of five state highways.

Weather permitting, the resurfacing schedule is:

• On Sunday, July 17 through Thursday, July 21, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM,
lane
closures are scheduled on High Street between Grosstown Road and Jay Street
in
West Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, for milling, resurfacing, and
electrical improvements;
• On Tuesday, July 19 through Thursday, July 21, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM,
lane
closures are scheduled on Radnor Chester Road between Conestoga Road and
U.S.
30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Radnor Township, Delaware County, for milling and
base
repair;
• On Tuesday, July 19 through Thursday, July 21, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM,
lane
closures are scheduled on Church Road between Darby Paoli Road and the
Chester
County line in Radnor and Newtown townships, Delaware County, for milling
and
resurfacing; and
• On Tuesday, July 19 through Thursday, July 21, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM,
lane
closures are scheduled on Mill Road between Brinton Lake Road and Thornton
Road
in Concord and Thornbury townships, for milling and resurfacing.

The resurfacing of these four state roads is financed with 100 percent
state
funds.

• On Tuesday, July 19 through Thursday, July 21, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM,
lane
closures are scheduled on Stony Bank Road between Baltimore Pike and Glen
Mills
Road in Chester Heights Borough and Thornbury Township, Delaware County,
for
milling.

The work on this state highway is financed with 100 percent state funds
through
Act 89, Pennsylvania's transportation plan.
