Weekdays in Oxford Borough for Road Reconstruction

Presbyterian Homes Inc., will close Route 472 (East Lancaster Avenue)
weekdays
between Vernon Street and Pine Street in Oxford Borough, Chester County,
beginning Monday, August 1, for roadway reconstruction, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. Route 472 (East
Lancaster Avenue) will close Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM
through early November.
During construction, Route 472 (East Lancaster Avenue) traffic will be
detoured
over Route 10 (Limestone Road) and U.S. 1. Local access will be maintained
up
to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when
traveling through the area.
Presbyterian Homes Inc., will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway
Occupancy Permit.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
