I-95 Night Restrictions Next Week at Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange

12/22/2016-KING OF PRUSSIA

Nighttime lane closures and periodic traffic stoppages are scheduled next
week
on Interstate 95 for construction at the Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue
Interchange in Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Department of transportation
announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Tuesday, December 27, through Thursday, December 29, from 8:00 PM to 5:00
AM
the following morning, intermittent single lane closures are scheduled on
northbound and southbound I-95 at the Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue
Interchange, for pier construction in the median. In addition, periodic
15-minute stoppages are also planned at the interchange each morning
between
12:01 AM and 5:00 AM; and

• Tuesday, December 27, through Thursday, December 29, from 8:00 PM to 5:00
AM
the following morning, alternating lane closures and periodic 15-minute
traffic
stoppages are scheduled on the ramps from the Betsy Ross Bridge to I-95 for

removal and replacement of overhead signs.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route or allow more time for
travel
on I-95 because backups will occur during construction. All scheduled
activities are weather dependent.

The work is associated with a $160.2 million project to improve the ramp
system
at the Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue Interchange.
