A winter weather advisory has been issued for the entire county beginning 10 PM tonight through Saturday; for a combination of snow, sleet and freezing rain before a changeover to all rain from southeast to northwest on Saturday. Hazardous travel conditions are possible tonight through Saturday with snow, sleet and freezing rain. Chester County Forecasted Conditions: • Anticipated Timing: Throughout today into Saturday afternoon, 12/17/2016. • Extremely cold temperatures with wind chills as low as zero. West wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon. • Precipitation: Chester County could receive up to 4 inches of snow Friday night into Saturday. • Ice accumulations of .04 inches are possible countywide. • Active watches & warnings: Chester County is currently under a Winter Weather Advisory.
