Upper Providence Township Authority to Close South Lewis Road Beginning
Next Week for Utility Installation

4/27/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Upper Providence Township Authority is scheduled to close South Lewis Road
between Borough Line Road and Bechtel Road in Upper Providence Township,
Montgomery County, beginning Monday, May 1, for utility installation, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. The
road
closure will be in effect through early August.

During construction, South Lewis Road motorists will be detoured over
Borough
Line Road and Hess Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are
advised to allow extra time when traveling through this area. The work
schedule
is dependent on the weather.

Upper Providence Township Authority will complete the project under a
PennDOT
Highway Occupancy Permit.
