PECO to Restrict U.S. 202 North and Brookhaven Road Next Week for
Improvements in Delaware County

PECO is planning lane restrictions on U.S. 202 and Brookhaven Road in
Concord
and Nether Providence townships, Delaware County, for gas main
installation,
the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Tuesday, September 5, and Wednesday, September 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane restrictions are scheduled on northbound U.S. 202 between Smithbridge
Road
and Carter Way in Concord Township; and
• Wednesday, September 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled on Brookhaven Road between Fairfield Drive and Rose Valley Road
in
Nether Providence Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
