Bartram Avenue Lane Closures Scheduled Saturday for Pole Removal in
Philadelphia

Eastbound Bartram Avenue is scheduled to close between Essington Avenue and

Mingo Avenue in Philadelphia on Saturday, March 31, from 8:00 AM to 12:30
PM,
for pole removal, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced today. During the closure, eastbound Bartram Avenue motorists
will
use one of the westbound lanes.

In addition, there will be a 15-minute traffic stoppage on the ramp from
Route
291 (Penrose Avenue) to southbound Interstate 95 on Saturday, March 31,
between
9:45 AM and 10:45 AM.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route or allow extra time when
traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The
schedule is weather dependent.
