PennDOT to Host Open House Meeting for Coulter Street Bridge Improvement
Project in Philadelphia

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will hold an open
house
plans display meeting on Wednesday, April 11, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in
the
Boys and Girls Club Wissahickon at 328 West Coulter Street in Philadelphia
for
the upcoming Coulter Street Bridge Improvement Project over SEPTA railroad
tracks.
The project involves replacing the superstructure of the bridge and reusing
the
existing masonry abutments.
The purpose of the meeting is to present the public with project plans,
preliminary designs and detour route information on the upcoming
improvement
project. The meeting will be conducted as an open-house plans display where
citizens will have the opportunity to circulate among the subject displays
to
gather information and discuss the different facets of the project with
PennDOT's design team.
Construction bids on this project are expected to be opened in the fall of
2019.
