Hello, this is Lower Providence Township with an important announcement.
A Snow Emergency has been declared for the Township in anticipation of the predicated snowfall.
The snow emergency starts at 8:00 pm Tuesday, March 20 and ends at 12:00 pm on Thursday, March 22, subject to change.
During this emergency:
No vehicles shall be parked on the odd numbered side of the street.
No person shall operate a vehicle upon any street without chains or all-weather tires.
Any vehicle parked, stalled, incapable of moving or left unattended on any street, may be removed or towed by the Police Department.
No person shall deposit snow upon any street.
Any questions regarding the snow emergency declaration should be directed to the Lower Providence Township Police Department at 610-539-5901 or Emergency Management at 610-635-3546.

Please try to limit travel during the anticipated storm. You can monitor weather forecasts at www.weather.gov. If you lose power, please report the outage directly to PECO at 1-800-841-4141.
