Bethel Road to Close Next Week for Pipe Replacement in Concord and Bethel Townships, Delaware County

King of Prussia, PA – Bethel Road will be closed and detoured between Smithbridge Road and Garnet Mine Road in Concord and Bethel townships, Delaware County, on Wednesday, August 1, through Friday, August 3, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for pipe replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Bethel Road motorists will be directed to use Smithbridge Road, Concord Road, Route 261 (Foulk Road) and Garnet Mine Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone because slowdowns will occur during construction. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.
