PennDOT - District 6 News: PECO Energy Planning Lane Restrictions on Several State Highways, Including Route 23 (Nutt Road) for Utility Improvements

PECO Energy Planning Lane Restrictions on Several State Highways, Including Route 23 (Nutt Road) for Utility Improvements

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday lane restrictions on several state highways in Chester and Delaware counties, including Route 23 (Nutt Road) in Phoenixville Borough, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for gas main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Thursday, July 26, through Thursday, August 2, on Route 23 (Nutt Road) between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue in Phoenixville Borough, Chester County;
• Thursday, July 26, through Thursday, August 2, on Glen Riddle Road between Springhouse Lane and Cherrywood Lane in Middletown Township, Delaware County; and
• Monday, July 30, through Monday, August 6, on Whitford Road between Allen Drive and Lori Circle in Uwchlan Township, Chester County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
