Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for Guide Rail Repair in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties

King of Prussia, PA – Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties for guide rail repairs the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Sunday, July 22, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a left lane closure is scheduled in both directions on Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) between Knights Road and U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) in Philadelphia;
  • Monday, July 23, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a left lane closure is scheduled on northbound Interstate 95 between the Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue and Bridge Street/Harbison Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia;
  • Monday, July 23, through Thursday, July 26, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, temporary lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Yardley/Newton and the U.S. 1 interchanges in Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County;
  • Monday, July 23, through Thursday, July 26, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, temporary lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Academy Road/Linden Avenue and Bristol interchanges in Philadelphia and Bristol Township Bucks County;
  • Tuesday, July 24, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a left lane closure is scheduled on southbound I-95 between the Cottman Avenue/Rhawn Street and Bridge Street/Harbison Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia; and
  • Wednesday, July 25, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a left lane closure is scheduled on the ramp from southbound I-95 to Callowhill Street in Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
