Chester Water Authority to Close Meetinghouse Road for Utility Repair in Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County

King of Prussia, PA – The Chester Water Authority is planning to close Meetinghouse Road between Rogers Avenue and Lacono Court in Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County, on Monday, July 30, through Friday, August 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for utility repair, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. 

During this daytime operation, motorists will be directed to use Route 452 (Market Street), Ridge Road, Blueball Avenue and Chichester Avenue. 

Beginning Monday, August 6, through Friday, August 17, the Chester Water Authority is planning to close Blueball Avenue between Ridge Road and Columbia Avenue, for utility installation. Motorists will be directed to use Ridge Road, Route 452 (Market Street), Meetinghouse Road and Chichester Avenue. 

Local access will be maintained up to both construction zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The Chester Water Authority will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
