I-95, Gulph Road, Route 23 Restricted Next Week for Bridge Inspections in Delaware and Montgomery Counties
King of Prussia, PA – Lane closures are scheduled next week on Interstate 95 in Delaware County, and Gulph Road and Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) in Montgomery County, for bridge inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Wednesday, March 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on southbound I-95 at the Edgemont Avenue/Avenue of the States Interchange in the City of Chester, Delaware County;
- Wednesday, March 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on Gulph Road between Route 320 (Gulph Road) and Trinity Lane in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County; and
- Thursday, March 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) between Woodmont Road and Spring Street in West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County.
The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least once every two years to ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.
