PennDOT - District 6 News: U.S. 1, I-76 Lane Closures Next Week for Guiderail, Barrier, Attenuator Repair in Bucks County and Philadelphia

U.S. 1, I-76 Lane Closures Next Week for Guiderail, Barrier, Attenuator Repair in Bucks County and Philadelphia

King of Prussia, PA – Motorists will encounter lane closures next week on U.S. 1 and Interstate 76 in Bucks County and Philadelphia for guiderail, barrier and attenuator repair operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Monday, March 25, and Tuesday, March 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled to close on U.S. 1 in both directions between Pennsylvania Avenue and U.S. 13 in Morrisville Borough, Bucks County for guiderail and barrier repair;
  • Thursday, March 28, from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM, the right lane is scheduled to close on westbound I-76 between South Street and Interstate 676 in Philadelphia for attenuator repair; and
  • Friday, March 29, from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, the right lane is scheduled to close on southbound U.S. 1 between Fox Street and I-76 in Philadelphia for attenuator repair.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.
