Philadelphia Water Department to Close I-95 South Ramp to Bridge Street/Harbison Avenue Following Water Main Break
King of Prussia, PA – The Philadelphia Water Department will close the ramp from southbound Interstate 95 to Bridge Street/Harbison Avenue in Philadelphia this afternoon following a water main break, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. The closure will remain in place until repairs are completed.
During the operation, motorists will be directed to continue south on I-95, exit at Aramingo Avenue and continue on Aramingo Avenue to Bridge Street. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
The Philadelphia Water Department will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
