Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) Overnights in
Middletown Township, Delaware County for Water Main Installation

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning overnight lane restrictions on U.S. 1
(Baltimore
Pike) between Route 452 (Pennell Road) to just east of Oriole
Avenue/Granite
Drive in Middletown Township, Delaware County, on Sunday, October 9,
through
Friday, October 14, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, for
water
main replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
today
announced. Traffic will be controlled by flagging.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
The
work schedule is dependent upon the weather.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy
Permit.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting

traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
