I-76 West to Close Tomorrow Night in Philadelphia for Pavement Repair

Interstate 76 West will be closed at University Avenue in Philadelphia from
10:30 PM, October 25 to 5:00 AM, Friday, October 28, for pavement repairs,
the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said today.
During the overnight operation, I-76 west motorists will exit the
expressway at
University Avenue (Exit 346 B) and then follow 34th Street, University
Avenue,
38th Street, Chestnut Street, and Schuylkill Avenue west to access the
on-ramp
to I-76 west. Follow Schuylkill Avenue west to the ramp to I-76 west.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area
as
delays may occur.
The work will be performed by PennDOT Philadelphia maintenance employees.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
