Travel Restrictions Scheduled Thursday Night on I-76 and U.S. 1 in
Philadelphia

Overnight lane restrictions may occur on Interstate 76, Interstate 676 and
U.S.
1 (Roosevelt Extension) in Philadelphia, from 10:00 PM Thursday, October 6,
to
5:00 AM Friday, October 7, for attenuator repairs and replacement, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:
• Lane restrictions may occur on westbound I-76 at the I-676 East
Interchange
(Exit 344);
• Lane restrictions may occur on westbound I-76 at the Girard Avenue
Interchange (Exit 342); and
• Lane restrictions may occur on southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Extension) at
Ridge Avenue.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work
zones.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
