Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Township Line Road Weekdays for Water Main
Replacement in Jenkintown Borough

Aqua Pennsylvania is scheduled to close Township Line Road weekdays between
Greenwood Avenue and Washington Lane in Jenkintown Borough, Montgomery
County,
on Friday, May 26, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for water main installation,
the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. The
weekday closure of Township Line Road will be in effect through the end of
July.
During construction, Township Line Road through traffic will be detoured
over
Greenwood Avenue, Route 73 (Church Road) and Washington Lane.
In addition to the closure, Aqua Pennsylvania will restrict traffic
weekdays on
Township Line Road between Washington Lane and Route 611 (Old York Road) in
Cheltenham and Abington townships, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Friday, May
26,
through the end of July. Traffic will be controlled by flagging.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work
areas.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy
Permit.
