Daytime Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Sign Repairs in Falls

Daytime lane closures are scheduled next week on two state highways in
Falls
Township, Bucks County, for large sign repair operations, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, May 8, through Friday, May 12, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, lane
closures
are scheduled on New Tyburn Road between New Ford Road and Pennsylvania
Avenue;
and
• Monday, May 8, through Friday, May 12, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, lane
closures
are scheduled on Pine Grove Road between Lower Morrisville Road/Newbold
Road
and Trenton Avenue.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
The work is part of a $2.7 million project to replace large roadside signs
across the Philadelphia region.
J.D. Eckman, Inc. of Atglen, Chester County, is the general contractor on
the
project which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
