Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for Tree
Removal Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
the
Philadelphia region for tree removal operations, the Pennsylvania
Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, May 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled
on
County Line Road between Bradford Green Drive and Park Road in Warrington
Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, May 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled
on
Route 926 (Street Road) between Cheyney Thornton Road and Route 352
(Chester
Road/Middletown Road) in Thornbury and Westtown townships, Chester County;
• Monday, May 8, through Friday, May 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Beidler
Road
and Moore Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, May 8, through Friday, May 12, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on Creek Road between Knowlton Road and Dutton
Mill
Road in Brookhaven Township, Delaware County;
• Tuesday, May 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled
on
White Horse Road between White Horse Meadows Lane and Rees Road in
Charlestown
Township, Chester County;
• Tuesday, May 9, through Friday, May 12, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on Pullen Station Road between Route 212 (Church
Road) and Old Bethlehem Road in Springfield Township, Bucks County; and
• Wednesday, May 10, and Thursday, May 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on eastbound Route 842 (Wawaset Road) between
Davidson Road and Bridge Road in Pocopson Township, Chester County.
All traffic will be controlled by flagging. Drivers are advised to allow
extra
time when traveling through these work areas. All scheduled activities are
weather dependent.
