Lane Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Utility and Fence Work for
Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission

Nighttime and weekday lane restrictions are scheduled next week in
Montgomery
County for utility work and overhead fence removal operations by the
Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation
(PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:
• Monday, May 15, through Friday, May 19, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on Route 309 between the Route 73 (Church Road)
and
Highland Avenue interchanges in Springfield, Whitemarsh and Upper Dublin
townships, for overhead fence removal operations;
• Tuesday, May 16, and Wednesday, May 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on West Germantown Pike between Plymouth Road
and
Launfall Road in Plymouth Township, for utility work; and
• Wednesday, May 17, and Thursday, May 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on East Pennsylvania Avenue between West
Pennsylvania Avenue and Camp Hill Road in Whitemarsh Township, for utility
work.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these
areas.
The contractors are completing the work on behalf of the Pennsylvania
Turnpike
Commission.
