PECO Energy to Close South Wayne Avenue Weekdays for Gas Main Replacement
in Radnor Township, Delaware County

PECO Energy is scheduled to close South Wayne Avenue weekdays between U.S.
30
(Lancaster Avenue) and Conestoga Road in Radnor Township, Delaware County,
starting Monday, May 22, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, for gas main
installation,
the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The
weekday closure will be in effect through the end of September.
During construction, South Wayne Avenue motorists will be detoured over
U.S. 30
(Lancaster Avenue) and Conestoga Road. Local access will be maintained up
to
the construction zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this area.
The
work schedule is dependent on the weather.
PECO Energy will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy
Permit.
