Girard Avenue Ramp to I-76 West Scheduled to Close This Morning for Tree
Removal Operations in Philadelphia

The ramp from Girard Avenue to westbound Interstate 76 in Philadelphia is
scheduled to close today at 9:30 AM for tree removal operations, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. The
closure is expected to last for approximately one hour.
During this operation, motorists looking to access westbound I-76 from
Girard
Avenue will be directed to use Parkside Avenue, Belmont Avenue and
Montgomery
Avenue.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area
because slowdowns will occur.
