PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Weekdays for Utility Improvements in Montgomery and Chester Counties
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday lane restrictions with flagging from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Montgomery and Chester counties, for utility installations, , the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, January 21, through Thursday, February 28, U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) between Tournament Drive and Morris Road in Whitpain Township, Montgomery County;
- Tuesday, January 22, through Tuesday, January 29, Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Davis Road and Colonial Springs Road in Schuylkill Township, Chester County;
- Tuesday, January 22, through Tuesday, January 29, Old Lancaster Road between Revere Road and Orchard Lane in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County;
- Wednesday, January 23, through Wednesday, January 30, Bridge Street between Cedar Street and Penn Street in Spring City Borough, Chester County; and
- Monday, January 28, through Monday, February 4, Route 841 (Prospect Avenue) between Walnut Street and Summit Avenue in West Grove Borough, Chester County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
