SEPTA to Close U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) for Rail Bridge Removal in Delaware County
King of Prussia, PA – SEPTA is scheduled to close northbound and southbound U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) between Valley Road and Red Roof Drive in Middletown Township and Chester Heights Borough, Delaware County, from 8:00 PM Friday, February 8, to 5:00 AM Monday, February 11, for rail bridge removal, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During construction, U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) motorists will be directed to use U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) and Route 452 (Pennell Road). Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
