The Department of Prisons successfully tested its Emergency Siren today, July 1, 2016 at 12:00, noon.The Emergency Siren is tested on the the first Friday of each month. If you hear the alert siren at any time, it indicates an escape. Please take precaution and get updates by watching local media and the PDP's Twitter page: @phillyprisons
