I-676 West Ramp and Lane Closures Scheduled for Sunday Night in
Philadelphia

The ramp from 8th Street to westbound Interstate 676 is scheduled to be
closed
from 8:00 PM Sunday, June 18, through 5:00 AM the next morning, for tree
trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
(PennDOT)
announced today.
During the closure, 8th Street motorists wanting to access westbound I-676
will
be detoured over Callowhill Street, Broad Street and 16th Street.
In addition, the I-676 westbound right lane will close between the 8th
Street
and Broad Street interchanges during this maintenance operation. Westbound
motorists will be able to exit at both 8th Street and Broad Street.
Motorists are advised to allow for extra driving time when traveling in
these
areas because backups will occur.
