Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for
Maintenance Operations in Montgomery and Chester Counties

Daytime and nighttime travel restrictions and road closures are scheduled
next
week on several state highways in Montgomery and Chester counties for
maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
(PennDOT)
announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, June 26, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Kenas Road will be closed and
detoured between County Line Road and Route 463 (Horsham Road) in
Montgomery
Township, Montgomery County, for pipe replacement. Motorists will be
detoured
over County Line Road, Stump Road and Route 463 (Horsham Road);
• Monday, June 26, and Tuesday, June 27, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Philmont
Avenue will be closed and detoured between Red Lion Road and Byberry Road
in
Lower Moreland Township, Montgomery County, for base repair. Motorists will
be
detoured over Byberry Road and Buck Road;
• Tuesday, June 27, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Route 113 (Bridge Road) will
be
closed and detoured between Route 29 (Gravel Pike) and Ridge Pike in
Perkiomen
Township and Trappe Borough, Montgomery County, for pipe replacement.
Motorists
will be detoured over Route 29 (Gravel Pike) and Ridge Pike/Main Street;
• Wednesday, June 28, and Thursday, June 29, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Mill
Road
is scheduled to close between Route 611 (Easton Road) and Route 263 (York
Road)
in Upper Moreland Township and Hatboro Borough, Montgomery County, for base
repair. Motorists will be detoured over Route 263 (York Road), Route 463
(Horsham Road) and Blair Mill Road;
• Thursday, June 29, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Game Farm Road is scheduled
to
close between Route 29 (Main Street) and Neiffer Road in Limerick and Lower
Frederick townships, Montgomery County, for pipe replacement. Motorists
will be
detoured over Route 73 (Big Road/Gravel Pike) and Neiffer Road;
• Monday, June 26, through Thursday, June 29, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 30
between
Route 82 (Manor Road) and Route 10 (Octorara Trail) in Valley and Sadsbury
townships, Chester County, for shoulder repairs;
• Monday, June 26, through Thursday, June 29, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Route 401
(Conestoga Road) between Route 23 (Main Street) and Route 113 (Kimberton
Road)
in East Nantmeal, West Vincent and West Pikeland townships, Chester County,
for
crack sealing.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
