I-476, I-95, I-76 Among Several Highways Restricted Next Week for Overhead
Sign Inspections in the Philadelphia Region

Lane closures are scheduled next week on several state highways and
interstates
including Interstate 476, Interstate 95, and Interstate 76 in Montgomery,
Delaware and Philadelphia counties for overhead sign inspections, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Tuesday, May 29, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, a right lane closure is
scheduled
on the ramp from northbound I-476 to Matsonford Road in West Conshohocken
borough, Montgomery County;
• Tuesday, May 29, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM lane closures are scheduled on
the
ramp from MacDade Boulevard to I-95 in Ridley Township, Delaware County;
• Tuesday, May 29, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, a left lane closure is
scheduled
on the ramp from eastbound I-76 to I-476 North in West Conshohocken
Borough,
Montgomery County;
• Tuesday, May 29, from 12:00 PM, to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled
on
the ramp from westbound U.S. 322 to I-95 South in Chester Township,
Delaware
County;
• Tuesday, May 29, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
Matsonford Road between Old Gulph Road and Route 23 (Crawford Avenue) in
West
Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County;
• Wednesday, May 30, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled
in
both directions on U.S. 13 (9th Street) between Engle Street and Edwards
Street
in Chester Township, Delaware County;
• Wednesday, May 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled
on
southbound I-95 between the U.S. 322 and Market Street interchanges in
Chester
Township, Delaware County;
• Wednesday, May 30, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled
on
the ramp from northbound I-95 to Route 420 (Wanamaker Avenue) in Tinicum
Township, Delaware County;
• Wednesday, May 30, and Thursday, May 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
closures are scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Essington and Island
Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia and Tinicum Township, Delaware County;
• Thursday, May 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
southbound I-95 just south of the Chichester Avenue Interchange in Upper
Chichester Township, Delaware County;
• Friday, June 1, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
the
ramp from northbound I-95 to I-476 in Ridley Township, Delaware County;
• Friday, June 1, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
the
ramp from MacDade Boulevard to I-95 in Ridley Township, Delaware County;
• Friday, June 1, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
Lawrence Road between Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and Sussex Boulevard in
Marple Township, Delaware County;
• Friday, June 1, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
Route
291 (Industrial Highway) between Route 291 (Bartram Avenue) and Departures
Road
in Tinicum Township, Delaware County;
• Saturday, June 2, from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, lane closures are scheduled
on
southbound U.S. 1 (Media Bypass) between Springfield Road and Route 320
(Sproul
Road) in Springfield Township, Delaware County;
• Saturday, June 2, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
northbound I-95 between the Market Street and Kerlin Street interchanges in
Chester Township, Delaware County;
• Saturday, June 2, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled
in
both directions on I-476 between the Media/Swarthmore and U.S. 1
interchanges
in Nether Providence, Delaware County;
• Sunday, June 3, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closures are scheduled on
southbound I-95 between the I-476 and Market Street interchanges in Chester
Township, Delaware County; and
• Sunday, June 3, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
westbound I-76 between the U.S. 1 North and Belmont Avenue/Green Lane
interchanges in Philadelphia and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
