Travel Restrictions Scheduled on Several State Highways Next Week for
Maintenance Operations in Montgomery County

Travel restrictions are scheduled on two state highways next week for
maintenance operations in Montgomery County, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Tuesday, May 29, and Wednesday, May 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
Flinthill
Road is scheduled to close between Route 320 (Swedeland Road) and Jefferson
Street in Upper Merion Township, for base repair. During the closure,
Flinthill
Road motorists will be detoured over Route 320 (Swedeland Road), Route 23
(Schuylkill River Road), Coates Street and Union Avenue; and
• Thursday, May 31, and Friday, June 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route 113
(Bridge Road) is scheduled to close between Route 29 (Gravel Pike) and
Route 73
(Skippack Pike) in Skippack Township. During the closure, Route 113 (Bridge
Road) motorists will be detoured over Route 29 (Gravel Pike) and Route 73
(Skippack Pike).
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
