U.S. 13 (33rd Street) to Close Weekdays for Utility Improvements in
Philadelphia

5/15/2018-KING OF PRUSSIA

The Philadelphia Water Department is planning to close U.S. 13 (33rd
Street)
weekdays at Diamond Street in Philadelphia on Tuesday, May 29, through
Friday,
June 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for utility installation, the
Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During the weekday closure, U.S. 13 (33rd Street) motorists will be
detoured
over Montgomery Avenue, 31st Street, Ridge Avenue and Susquehanna Avenue.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are
advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because
slowdowns
will occur during construction. The schedule is weather dependent.

Philadelphia Water Department will complete this project under a PennDOT
Highway Occupancy Permit.
