Aqua Pennsylvania to Close Orange Street Weekdays in Delaware County for
Water Main Installation

Aqua Pennsylvania is scheduled to close Orange Street between Baltimore
Pike
and Ridley Creek Road in Media Borough and Upper Providence Township,
Delaware
County, starting Monday, September 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for water
main
replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today
announced. The weekday closure of Orange Street will be in effect through
mid-October.
During construction, Orange Street through traffic will be detoured over
Baltimore Pike, Elwyn Road, Route 352 (New Middletown Road), Old Middletown
Road, Bortondale Road, Knowlton Road and Ridley Creek Road. Motorists are
advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy
Permit.
