Lane Restrictions Scheduled on Broad Street (Route 611) in Philadelphia for
Core Boring

8/12/2016-KING OF PRUSSIA

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
lane restriction are scheduled on Broad Street (Route 611) between
Callowhill
Street and Noble Street in Philadelphia beginning Tuesday, August 16, for
core
boring testing. Crews will work weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through
Friday, September 2.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling the work zone on
Broad
Street (Route 611).

This work is part of the preliminary engineering to replace the Broad
Street
(Route 611) over abandoned Reading Railroad.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting

to more than 770 traffic cameras.
