Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on I-76 in Montgomery County for
Drainage Pipe Cleaning

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
lane closures will occur next week on eastbound and westbound Interstate 76
in
Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, for cleaning drainage pipes.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

• Monday, August 15, and Tuesday, August 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the
left
lane is scheduled to close on eastbound I-76 between the Gladwyne and U.S.
1
(City Avenue) interchanges; and

• Wednesday, August 17, and Thursday, August 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
the
left lane is scheduled to close on westbound I-76 between the U.S. 1 (City
Avenue) and Gladwyne interchanges.

Motorists should expect slow moving traffic and delays entering the work
zone.
