Lane Restrictions Scheduled on Route 132 (Street Road) Monday in
Philadelphia for Sign Installation

8/26/2016-KING OF PRUSSIA

The right lane is scheduled to close on Route 132 (Street Road) between
Interstate 95 and Forrest Avenue in Philadelphia, on Monday, August 29,
from
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for an overhead sign installation, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

PennDOT advises drivers to allow additional time for travel on Route 132
(Street Road) near the work area because backups will occur. The operation
is
dependent on the weather.

The work on Route 132 (Street Road) is part of an $860,000 project to
replace
large roadside signs across the five-county region.

Kuharchik Construction, Inc. of Exeter, Pa. is the general contractor on
the
project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and
Android
devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional twitter alerts
accessible
on the 511PA website.
