PennDOT to Replace Deteriorated Drainage Pipes on Three State Highways in
Bucks County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
three state highways will be closed and detoured for the replacement of
deteriorated drainage pipes in Bucks County.
The work schedule is:
• On Monday, August 22, through Wednesday, August 24, from 9:00 AM to 6:00
PM,
Bristol Road will be closed and detoured between Churchville Road and Route
232
(Second Street Pike) in Northampton and Upper Southampton townships.
Motorists
will be detoured over Churchville Road, Route 132 (Street Road) and Route
232
(Second Street Pike);
• On Monday, August 22, through Friday, August 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) will be closed and detoured between Park Avenue
and
Hilltown Pike in Chalfont Borough, Hilltown and New Britain townships.
Traffic
will be detoured over Park Avenue, Callowhill Road and Hilltown Pike.
• On weekends from Wednesday, August 24, through Tuesday, August 30, from
9:00
AM to 6:00 PM, Galloway Road will be closed between Richlieu Road and
Hulmeville Road in Bensalem Township. Vehicles will follow Richlieu Road,
Bristol Road and Hulmeville Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the construction zones during work
hours.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these
areas.
The work schedules are weather dependent.
This work will be performed by PennDOT Bucks County maintenance employees.
