Travel Restrictions in Philadelphia and Bucks County for Bridge Inspections

Travel restrictions are scheduled in Philadelphia and Bucks County for
bridge
inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today
announced.

Weather permitting, the work schedule is:

• On Sunday, August 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on

southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) between Old York Road and 15th
Street
and between Scotts Lane and Ridge Avenue in Philadelphia;
• On Monday, August 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane will be
closed
on northbound Old Lincoln Highway between Tyburn Road and Woolston Road in
Falls Township, Bucks County;
• On Monday, August 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane will be
closed
on southbound Old Lincoln Highway between Woolston Road and Tyburn Road in
Falls Township, Bucks County;
• On Wednesday, August 17, the right lane will be closed on northbound U.S.
13
between Newbold Road and U.S. 1 in Falls Township;
• On Thursday, August 18, the right lane will be closed on southbound U.S.
13
between U.S. 1 and Newbold Road in Falls Township, Bucks County; and
• On Sunday, August 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on

northbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) between Ridge Avenue and Scotts
Lane
and between 15th Street and Old York Road in Philadelphia.

The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least
once
every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall condition of
the
structures.

visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
