Aqua PA to Close Belmont Avenue in Montgomery County and Powell Road in
Delaware County for Water Main Installations

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning road closures with detours in Lower Merion
Township, Montgomery County, and Springfield Township, Delaware County,
beginning Monday, April 10, for water main installation, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

From Monday, April 10, through Friday, April 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
Aqua
Pennsylvania is scheduled to close Belmont Avenue weekdays between Rock
Hill
Road and U.S. 1 (City Avenue) in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.
During construction, Belmont Avenue motorists will be detoured over Rock
Hill
Road, Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road), and U.S. 1 (City Avenue). Local
access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

From Monday, April 17, through Friday, May 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
Aqua
Pennsylvania is scheduled to close Powell Road between Route 420 (Woodland
Avenue) and Saxer Avenue. During construction, Powell Road motorists will
be
detoured over Route 420 (Woodland Avenue), U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and
Saxer
Avenue. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these
areas.
The work schedules are dependent on the weather.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete this improvement project under a PennDOT
Highway Occupancy Permit.
