Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Maintenance Operations in the
Philadelphia Region

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today
that
travel restrictions are scheduled next week in the Philadelphia region for
maintenance operations.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

• Monday, March 20, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled on
Ashbourne Road between West Avenue and Spring Avenue in Cheltenham
Township,
Montgomery County, for tree removal operations. Traffic will be controlled
by
flagging;
• Monday, March 20 and Tuesday, March 21, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on Route 212 (Durham Road/Main Street) at
Springtown
Hill Road in Springfield Township, Bucks County, for tree removal
operations.
Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Monday, March 20 and Tuesday, March 21, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on Newark Road between Airport Way and Rose Hill

Lane in New Garden Township, Chester County, for tree removal operations;
• Monday, March 20, through Friday, March 24, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions are scheduled on Bryn Mawr Avenue between Malin Road and Hunt
Road
in Newtown and Radnor townships, Delaware County, for tree removal
operations.
Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Wednesday, March 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled
to
close on Wynnewood Road between Spring Avenue and Athens Avenue in Lower
Merion
Township, Montgomery County, for tree removal operations;
• Wednesday, March 22 and Thursday, March 23, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions are scheduled on Headquarters Road near Municipal Road in
Tinicum
Township, Bucks County, for tree removal operations. Traffic will be
controlled
by flagging;
• Wednesday, March 22 and Thursday, March 23, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions are scheduled on Oxford Road between Elkdale Road and Montana
Drive in East Nottingham Township, Chester County, for tree removal
operations.
Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Thursday, March 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled
to
close on westbound Interstate 676 between the Ben Franklin Parkway and
Interstate 76 interchanges in Philadelphia, for drainage operations;
• Friday, March 24, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled on
Elkdale Road between Bryans Way and Highland View Drive in East Nottingham
and
Lower Oxford townships, Chester County, for tree removal operations.
Traffic
will be controlled by flagging;
• Friday, March 24, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled on
West End Boulevard at Green Top Road in West Rockhill Township, Bucks
County,
for tree removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging; and
• Saturday, March 25, through Saturday, April 1, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
Marienstein Road will be closed between Rock Ridge Road and Lonely Cottage
Road
in Nockamixon and Bridgeton townships, Bucks County, for pipe replacement.

During construction, Marienstein Road motorists will be detoured over Route
611
(Easton Road), Route 32 (River Road) and Bridgeton Hill Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

zones.
